Vetiver Organic Essential Oil

Vetiver is a much-loved material in perfumery, it adds depth, elegance and it allows the fragrance to stay on the skin for much longer. In aromatherapy, Vetiver is used for its ‘rooting’ qualities, connecting us to earth and making us feel grounded.

As a grass that has very long roots that grow up to 4 meters deep into the soil, Vetiver brings the energy of the planet to our lives. It is very strong, so a little goes a very long way. Used sparingly this oil brings tranquillity, and a feeling of safety - almost like a warm blanket being wrapped around us when we are feeling frail or broken hearted. All stress related conditions benefit from Vetiver.

This is a warming oil, making it perfect for long baths and body massage oils to ease muscular tension, aches, and pains. It calms palpitations and is even known to strengthen red blood cells.

On the skin is good for acne scars.

MAIN THERAPEUTIC ACTIONS: Relaxing, rubefacient, sedative, stimulant, tonic. 

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use neat on the skin.
