Tea Tree Organic Essential Oil

A very special and unique oil as it is the only oil that has been proven to have an effect on the three types of infection that attack the body; viruses, fungi, and bacteria. 

Tea Tree is therefore most useful as both a preventative measure, and for treating infection. Needless to say, this oil is very useful for when feeling run-down with a cold or flu.

A useful first aid tool, Tea Tree may be used neat on the skin to tackle any fungal, viral, and most other skin ailments such as cold sores, spots, athlete’s foot, warts, verrucas, boils, blisters, infected wounds, sunburn, rashes, and itchy skin.

To use in larger areas of skin, it needs then to be diluted, it can then be of great use as a chest and neck massage oil to tackle colds, flu, catarrh, and glandular fever.  Traditionally Tea Tree has been used to cleanse the body of viruses as it promotes perspiration, and has antiviral, antiseptic, and bactericidal properties.

As if all this was not sufficient reason for us to have Tea Tree in our lives, it also revitalises both body and mind.

MAIN THERAPEUTIC ACTIONS: Anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral, bactericidal, cooling, fungicidal, immune-stimulant, sudorific, tonic.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Generally safe but for those with very sensitive skin do a patch test first and use in low dilutions.
